The Central Council of Jews
in Germany organizes regular internal seminars for the boards, managers and
staff of the Jewish communities on a number of important thematic areas. These
events usually last two days and have in the past addressed such matters as
book-keeping in the Jewish communities, Islamist extremism in Germany or community
statutes and elections. Courses on democracy and law have been designed with
immigrants from countries of the former Soviet Union in mind, and the
participants are able to pass on what they have learned to the members of their
community, helping them to integrate more rapidly and effectively into German
society.
These
seminars are only open to community staff and not to the general public.
