Central Council criticises German business relations with Iran

In an interview with the DAPD news agency, the Vice-President of the Central Council of Jews in Germany, Dieter Graumann, has harshly criticised German companies doing business with Iran. He said such companies deserved "shame and contempt" for their "de-facto complicity with Tehran's regime of terror" and called on the government to adopt sanctions against Iran. Graumann said: "We all know by now whom we are dealing with: a regime that cynically oppresses its own population, systematically and brazenly falsifies elections, daily tramples on human rights and impudently denies the Holocaust."
