Orthodox Rabbi Conference of Germany has a new board of directors

Berlin – The Orthodox Rabbi Conference of Germany has elected a new board of directors. It consists of two members of the previous board, Yitshak Ehrenberg from Berlin and Menachem Halevi Klein from Frankfurt/Main, and a new member, Avichai Apel from Dortmund . In addition, an advisory committee consisting of Jakov Ebert from Würzburg and Julian Soussan from Düsseldorf has been established. According to a report in Jüdische Allgemeine , the members of both bodies will remain in office till the High Holidays. The report also says that it has been agreed to hold talks with the Chief Rabbinate of Israel before the new election in order to intensify the already close cooperation between the two bodies.
