Funding of Community Centre in Leipzig secured

Leipzig – The funding of the Community Centre of the Jewish Community of Leipzig is almost secured. According to last week's report in Jüdische Allgemeine , the head of the Community Küf Kaufmann said that the Free State of Saxony and the city of Leipzig had agreed to provide about €4 million. The total cost of construction, which has already begun, will amount to approximately €4.7 million, according to the Jewish Community of Leipzig. The Centre is planned to open in spring next year.
